POEM is a research and development unit at the University of Helsinki. We study human experiences in the use of evolving technologies, modern organizations, future media and entertainment applications. Our research is especially focused on the natural, high-level, and multidimensional human behavior, for which we are continually developing new and relevant measurement and profiling methods. The essence in our approach is its psychological, human centered, and content oriented approach. In addition to conducting basic research, we have a long history in collaborating with companies to support their research, organizational development, testing, and product development work.
